Jesus
IN RED

                                            Children are People Too

Whoever receives this little child in My name receives Me. And whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me. For he who is least among you all will be great.
                                                        Luke 9:48

It’s easy to forget that children are people and should be treated with respect. Ill-spoken words by an adult have scarred many little ones for life. Kids never forget. For Christians, this is even more important because Jesus said that when we embrace a child in His name, we embrace Him.

As strange as this may sound to the world, we know that God is the Creator of all things and that includes children. When we honor a child, we honor his handiwork.

The kingdom of God is a mystery to the world. Our main message, the preaching of the cross, is foolishness to them (1 Corinthians 1:18). If we seek to save our lives, we lose them. If we make ourselves small in own eyes, we become big in God’s eyes. In the kingdom of God, the way down is the way up. And when we receive a little child in the name of Jesus, we receive the Savior.

SOUL SEARCH

Was I scarred as a child by the harsh words of an adult? Am I respectful to children?

Father, help me to share your love and kindness with everyone, including children.

Step 7  Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings.
Without Christ
Our sobriety would be pointless
Some of us tried to hold on to our old ides and the result was nil until we let go absolutely.
